Ava Gardner Festival continues at the Smithfield Performing Arts Center with a ticketed screening of Ava’s film, The Sun Also Rises (1957). The American drama film adaptation of the 1926 Ernest Hemingway novel was filmed in Spain. This film depiction portrays a group of disillusioned American expatriate writers who live a dissolute, hedonistic lifestyle in France and Spain in the 1920s. Popcorn included!
